What did we do to over come this evil?

Growing up with generational curses can put you on a back foot, learn how to defeat and eliminate such curses from your life.

Are you a loving parent? Let me guide you through the social evils that will affect your children, topics that needs to be discussed at home. Use this book as an educational manual and interactive guide to better your children.

Children blame their parents for the way their lives turned out., yet there are other evil influences that will mould them. It is true that what happens to us individuals is an accurate reflection of external dynamics and issues also.

I have come to realise the significance of stories in the healing process, both for a country and for our individual lives. So many people in South Africa have awesome stories to tell, depicting personal joy and hope as well as trauma and pain.

We are seldom given an opportunity or space to tell our stories to heal ourselves and so contribute to the healing process of our country and even the world be heard.

Included are 42 short stories that I hope will inspire and motivate you to tell yours.

About the Author

Errol Benjamin

I was born in Kirstenbosch, grew up on the Cape Flats, Manenburg and after schooling, joined the South African Navy.

It was during my naval career that I have improved myself to become a better person and refused to be another statistic of a “coloured man”.

I was always looked down on, bullied, harassed, robbed, insulted, belittled, hit on. As a step-son being beaten up by a drunk stepfather. I did not wish this for my children.

Father to six children, my own was a journey of growing up with a toxic stepfather, toxic family situations from sibling rivalry, divorce to self-realisation, adaptability, resilience and a healing process.

I had a spiritual awakening to prioritise myself in seeking God’s kingdom. I needed to live a life that reflects God’s character and standards, meaning living ethical and with moral integrity. I needed to understand God’s rule and reign in my present and future state of being, allowing His will to lead my life, allowing God to restore my life.

Nowadays, I find myself helping others in restoring their lives. Having published a poetry book in Afrikaans for Murraysburg Kinderhuis, “As Engele Troetel” (KREATIV SA). I’m also very much active in the town of Murraysburg with community work.
